Meet the Apprentice on National Apprenticeship Week 2021: Julie Jones.

Following on from yesterday’s written interview with Alistair Ward on his recent Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, today it’s Julie Jones who shares her thoughts on her upcoming Level 4 Sales Apprenticeship course.

This forms part of our daily content for National Apprenticeship Week 2021. Coinadrink is proudly Investors in People Gold accredited and we regularly invest in our employee’s talent and potential through apprenticeships and courses.

Julie Jones is our very own Customer and Business Development Administrator, operating within the Marketing department. Julie is the friendly contact that many of our customers will have first-hand experience with, offering help and support where required.

She is an integral part of our operations!

Along with a couple of her colleagues, Julie has recently enrolled in a Level 4 Sales Apprenticeship programme as a way to boost her skillset. Here are her thoughts, including what she’s looking forward to and how Coinadrink have helped.

1. What is your current apprenticeship course?

I have just enrolled on a Sales Executive Apprenticeship.

2. What were your initial fears and how did Coinadrink help you overcome these?

My initial fears were, “can I do this”? I felt a little out of my depth (I am an overthinker who lacks confidence in herself). My Manager Tom was very supportive though and we discussed my concerns. He gave me the support/encouragement I needed to realise this will be good for me and my progress professionally.

3. What skills are you hoping to gain from your apprenticeship?

I am hoping to fine tune my skills in using different methods to promote our services, create new business and continue to uphold our excellent customer care standards.

4. How will your apprenticeship benefit you in your role?

I believe this course will most definitely benefit my current role, as the main core of this is telemarketing and any ideas/additional skills I can gain in using different methods to help with this will always be welcomed. Not only to increase my skill base, but also to boost my confidence in doing this.

5. How much do you value and appreciate the opportunity put forward by Coinadrink?

I really appreciate this opportunity; it is a nice feeling to have your employer continuously having the faith in you to keep moving forward with your skills and knowledge. The company encourage you to expand outside your comfort zone and strive to reach your full potential.

As a way to mark National Apprenticeship Week 2021 and to highlight its importance, we will have more stories from our team over the course of the week. Read about our Digital Marketing Apprentice Alistair Ward from yesterday if you haven’t already, and keep your eyes peeled for tomorrow’s!
